Meyton ShootMaster Software Version 5.4

ShootMaster 5.4: Available now

The most important new features in the latest version

Our developers have worked intensively to further optimize the software and adapt it even better to our customers' needs. A highlight of the new version is the revised SteuerPC results printout, which now supports significantly more international character sets – including Chinese, Japanese, and Korean characters. Furthermore, various display programs for spectator presentations on the display controller have been revised. They now offer new functions and expanded configuration options. This version also reinstates the ability to conduct mixed team competitions according to the current DSB rules (finals with elimination). Furthermore, prize shooting events can now be specifically limited to specific days of the week within the selected event period. New targets with animal motifs and background images have also been added, and evaluations can now be password-protected.

 Prize Shooting

  • Prize shooting events can now be restricted to specific days of the week within the selected time period.

  • The main window now displays, in the area for selecting a prize shooting, whether a prize shooting event is currently active or inactive.

  • In the prize shooting settings, you can now specify whether the year of birth or the age at the start of the event should be used to calculate a competitor's class.

  • Function for deleting entire series has been added.

  • In the window for setting up stand assignments via the starter list, starters for whom results are already available can now be highlighted in color.

  • The target editor now also supports the creation of circular targets with negative ring values.

  • New targets for 50m buffalo, 50m elk, and 50m mouflon have been added, displaying the animal silhouette.

  • Background images have been added for the "LG Easter Eggs" and "LG Winter Time" targets to better match the design of the Kruger paper targets.

Scoring

  • The text size when printing certain result lists no longer depends on the screen scaling set in the system.

  • For team scoring in the "DSB Scoring" and "Point Scoring" modes, results not included in the scoring are now displayed in parentheses.

  • The function for limiting the number of benchrest shooters now also works in scoring modes other than "Standard."

  • Scoring for the "DSB Mixed Team Final" (old ISSF Mixed Final with elimination) has been reinstated.

  • New "Random Place x Decimal Place" scoring option has been added.

  • Function for protecting individual scores with passwords (e.g., King Target) has been added.
